The UTV World Championship Pit Crew Challenge is a celebration of the dedicated pit captains, mechanics, and volunteers that spend countless hours prepping, maintaining and fixing off-road race vehicles before, during, and after they compete. As the margin between first and second overall winner at The UTV World Championship becomes more and more narrow each year, the difference between a victory and second place undoubtedly comes down to the speed of a pit stop during the epic race! The showdown will be held at the Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino Tech & Contingency parking lot on Thursday, April 13th at 5:00pm. The event is free and open to the public.
The pit crew challenge is open to race teams only! There will be some awesome prizes offered up, including a custom Pro Eagle Jack Trophy, (1) Pro Eagle jack for each winner, $200 gift certificate from Off-Road Tire guy and many more!

PIT CREW CHALLENGE RULES:
Teams use their own vehicles. *ALL VEHICLES MUST BE RACE READY OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE*
One spare. One Jack. One impact gun. 3 man crew.
-30″ Tire Minimum
-4 Lug Nuts Minimum
-Lug torq 65lbs before and after
-No lug spacers
-No glued lug nuts on wheels
-No extra lug nuts
-No limit straps to limit travel. All vehicles must be race ready.
-3 tires on the ground at all times (single point jacking only.)
Each team of 3 starts in the staging box with impact gun, jack, and one spare tire. Teams start with their hands in air and all equipment on the ground within the starting box. Teams must carry the jack from the starting box to their vehicle and swap one front tire and one rear tire. Both teams will be timed individually in case of penalties.
First team back to staging box with impact gun, jack, and one spare tire and all 3 members with hands in air wins. Equipment must be on ground within box.
5 sec penalty per loose lug nut
15 second penalty for missing lug nuts
