METHOD RACE WHEELS LAUGHLIN LEAP RULES & REGULATIONS
What: Method Race Wheels Laughlin Leap Jump Contest
When: Thursday April 5, 2018 at 7:30pm
Registration: Thursday April 5, 2018 at 6:00pm – 7:00pm Riverside Casino – Don’s Celebrity Theater
Who: 32 Total Competitors (FIRST COME), open to anyone with a UTV but must meet safety requirements

Cost: $50 ($25 to BITD / Event – $25 to Contestant Payback)

Competition Format:
Round 1 = 16 jumps @ 2 vehicles per jump
Final Round = 3 jumps @ 2 vehicles per jump
-Competitors will compete two at a time, HEAD-TO-HEAD fashion, chosen via “P pick”
-Each set of (2) racers will hit the jump simultaneously
-Each racer’s landing distance will be recorded and marked
-Landing distances will be logged between all competitors regardless of who the competitor is paired with for the jump itself
-All jumps will be tallied and the top six competitors will compete in a final round
-The top competitor’s distance from round one will remain the mark to beat
-All six competitors will jump again two at a time, HEAD-TO-HEAD
-If any competitor beats the round one distance, they become the new champion
-If no one in the second round beats the round one mark, the round one winner will become the automatic champion

Laughlin Leap UTV Requirements
(Open to all make/model UTVs except RZR 170s)
- 6 Point Roll-Cage. (Factory cage OK as long as it meets 6 point minimum)
- Side Panels / Doors Required (Doors must be secured to prevent from popping open)
- Window Nets Required
- Roof Panel Required
- One 2.5lb Fire Extinguisher Mounted On UTV w/ Quick Release.
- 5- Point Seat Belts Required 2” or 3” Wide Belts OK, 3” Preferred
- One Piece Fire-Suit Required
- Helmet w/ DOT or Snell Decal. Eye Protection Must Be Shatter Resistant.
- Gloves and Approved Head & Neck Restraints ARE Required
Laughlin Leap/Kids Crew Challenge Order of Events:
6:00 PM-7:00 PM – Laughlin Leap Registration
7:00 PM–7:10 PM– Mandatory Laughlin Leap Competitor Briefing & P Pick
7:15 PM – Staging for Laughlin Leap
7:30 pm – Singing of the National Anthem
7:30 PM – First round of Laughlin Leap Begins (16 Jumps/1 hour)
8:00 PM – Staging for Kids Crew Challenge
8:30 PM – Kids Crew Challenge Begins (3 rounds total)
9:00 PM – Final round of Laughlin Leap Begins
9:30 PM – Announce winner of Kids Crew Challenge and give prizes
9:40 PM – Announce winner of Laughlin Leap and give prizes
