Chase Mankin scores pair of victories in 250 and 570 classes; Desert Rally race live now
Add Ethan Groom to the list of repeat UTV World Champions in the 2021 edition of the event, as he took the checkered flag in Friday’s Youth 1000 event, the last of five Jamar Performance Youth Races in this year’s UTV World Championship presented by Polaris. Groom’s winning time of 38:50.210 beat Travis Sallee by 21.566 seconds in the largest of the events featuring the future stars of the sport.
Chase Mankin was the lone dual Youth winner of the day, taking victories in the Youth 570 and 250 divisions in back-to-back races. At nearly seven minutes, Mankin’s 570 class win over Vincent Riccitelli proved to be the largest margin of victory of the Youth events. Mason Cotter and Jaxon Leaming took the top spots in the Youth 170 Open and Production races, respectively. Full unofficial results from the races can be found at utvworldchampionship.com/live.
