Located in San Diego, California, Fortin Racing, Inc. is the industry leading gearbox manufacturer for off-road race and recreational vehicles. Fortin Racing Inc. began building transaxles for off-road race cars in the early 1970’s. Like all of our products the transaxle was designed and developed to meet the demand of racers to go faster and have more reliability. Over the past thirty years Fortin Racing’s transaxles, suspension, steering and drive train technologies have allowed off-road race cars to increase their speeds over the roughest terrain mother nature has to offer.
Fortin Racing’s current product line represents over thirty years of engineered race tested technology. Fortin Transaxles, Long Travel Rear Drive Hubs, Power Racks and a long list of other products found here on our website have been winning races the world over every year. Our products have become synonymous with winning the toughest, longest most famous off-road races in the world. Just ask Jean Louis Schlesser, 5 time winner of the Dakar Rally or Mark McMillin, 8 time winner of the Baja 1000 all with Fortin Gearboxes.
