Bruce Binnquist Posts Top Qualifying Time For 2021 UTV World Championship
JD Marsh (Desert Pro NA), Trey Gibbs (Unlimited) post additional fastest class times
Qualifying for the 2021 UTV World Championship presented by Polaris is in the books, with Bruce Binnquist setting the fastest time in the Desert Pro Turbo class and overall with a time of 5:28.582. When the dust settled, Binnquist’s quick time was nearly seven seconds clear of second place Ronnie Anderson. Full results for all qualifying classes can be found at utvworldchampionship.com/live.
Qualifying kicked off with more than 30 combined Desert Pro NA and Unlimited vehicles running in the first session from 8AM. JD Marsh posted the top time in the NA division at 5:53.327, more than two and a half seconds ahead of Kaden Wells in second and ten seconds ahead of Adrian Orellana at third in class. In the Unlimited division, Trey Gibbs’ 6:00.950 topped the entries, more than 10 seconds ahead of Trevor Beurrier for the quickest time.
From there, it was time for the premier Desert Pro Turbo class to hit the qualifying course, and the sport’s top drivers quickly posted the fastest times of the day. Binnquist went out as one of the first qualifiers and quickly set a benchmark that no other driver could match. The top 10 Desert Pro Turbo qualifying times were as follows:
